I think this is one of my favorite pieces I've ever made. In all, there are 56 individual birds in this piece, though some are wrapped around the edge, so not visible on the print. All birds are native to the Western US. 
 
This piece is about finding a moment of beauty and triumph in a chaotic world. 
 
This piece is about the endangered Red Wolf Population. There are currently only 25-30 left in the wild.
