This piece features a golden jaguar statue, modeled after artifacts from the Mayan civilization which once lived in ocelot territory. The Mayans also revered the Quetzal, a symbol of freedom, since they believed it would rather let itself die of hunger than live in captivity.

This 9" x 9" giclee print is produced with archival ink on acid-free paper so that the color will not fade. Each print comes  signed by the artist.
